Art Show

This pottery is made by my friend Whitney. She does some amazing stuff! Grandma if you are looking at this, I just might have to take you over to her house when you come in town so you can look for yourself;) If you are looking for some beautiful handcrafted pottery..look no further~

These paintings are by one of my favorite artist here on the Outer Banks. She is a super girl...so sweet. I have two of her prints in my home! I love this gal~ Her name is Kim Diggs. She wasn't able to be at the show. She is currently staying in Hawaii...Lucky girl! God has given her many talents!
This would be the world famous Mr. Whitney Hines...LOL...no this is Jesse and his wife made the pottery. Both had a lot to do with us moving to the OBX and livin the good life...but not as good as Jesse's...:) We love them both dearly.
Maya making a new friend. This is our pastors lovely daughter! Maya just loves her and wanted to play with her all night..We shared our Cheerios!
Torrie and Elizabeth painting. Torrie was such a trooper all day she helped me get my stuff and act together so I could have everything ready. She also was my encouragement that my scarves were good enough to be in an art show! I love her kindness and support that she shows me!

Last weekend was full of fun as we went to the annual art show our pastor Winfield and friend Brent McCoy puts on. We got to hear some great music and see some amazing art work. There were so many talented people there! Me and Torrie got a rockin pair of handmade earrings from Heather Sakers..you can find her link on this page. Torrie helped in the painting that all the kids did and Maya had a blast hanging out with everyone. I even put my scarves in the show and sold one (thanks to Mrs. Whitney Hines). I think next time I will put some of my photography in and see what the response is.

The Young and the Restless...LOL...

We were Rock-n-Roll...LOL....
Ahhh..So young!
In Atlanta...Our friend was the Atlanta braves baseball!
Check out the red hair...
And look at us now!

As some of you know..or may not know yesterday was Ronnie and my 13 year anniversary of being together. And by the grace of God we are still going strong! So I thought it would be fun for everyone to see some pictures of us that first year. It was fun to go back and look at us before wrinkles and grey hair!

OBX Wildlife

Just some shots I took of some wild life here in the OBX...my kitty included! The crane we saw on a walk down our road!

New Shoes

So this week was another sick week for the Dalgos...well just 2 Dalgos..me and Ronnie! I received a dose of antibiotics so I am now on the mend. My mom and step-dad came in on Saturday to see the girls and my mom took me and Torrie shopping. I got a new pair of shoes:) For those of you who don't know I have a shoe fetish (What girl doesn't right?) well since I have been unemployed the only shoes I have been able to afford are flip-flops...so it is a good thing we live at the beach huh? Oh yeah Torrie and Maya also got some new shoes to sport about. They also got some new clothes to wear with those new shoes..ahhh to be young again! No new shoes for Ronnie...but don't feel too bad for him. He is one of Jesse's Kids. He gets the clothes that Jesse doesn't want or cant wear. He has more clothes in our closet than I do..Which is totally not fair!!
Maya has started pulling up on things and trying to walk. It will only be a matter of time now. Torrie continues to do great in school and now wants to join the soccer team. Gotta love her spunk!!
Oh and Torrie has started her own blog so check it out she worked really hard on it and it is very good.
Please continue to pray for Nate, Tricia and their sweet baby! They have come a long way but still have so much further to go!

Love to all.

What a Beautiful Day

Big Full Moon
"THE BOYS" Ronnie, Jesse and Brent
Torries Honor Roll
Bowling
Maya and the girls.

Wow..it was a great day for a birthday! Thank you to everyone that sent cards, e-mails and gifts! I love you all. The weather was perfect today and me and Maya went on a walk to Torries school. Torrie had a science exhibit which was a lot of fun for us to go and watch.

Thank the lord that we are all feeling better this week. Torrie got her report card on Friday! She is on the honor roll once again! We are so very proud! Friday night we went bowling for a friends birthday. We had a blast but needless to say the Dalgos need to work on thier game. Sunday we went to church and Ronnie got to do some surfin with the boys. When he got home we went to the Diggs home to watch my team..THE GIANTS...win the Superbowl. Great game, food and fellowship!

Yesterday Maya sat up all by herself. She has not done it again..but I am sure I did not imagine it:) Torrie is trying out for the school talent show on Thursday. She will be singing Amazing Grace, Amazing Grace. Her daddy will be playing the guitar for her as well as one of her friends. So give her a ring and wish her good luck!

Have a great week!
Love,
Me
