Evening at the Pier

Last night we went to the Pier to watch some of the Big Boys surf. I could not get any pictures of the surfers cause of the low light but I got some other fun ones:

She looks like one of the 7 dwarfs:
The whole beach is almost covered in water:
Our great Coast Guard doing their thing:
Well notice the surfer in the background, So I did get one picture:

I made them all do funny faces. See how well Maya listens..LOL..
The beautiful moon:

For some reason Torrie wanted this picture so here it is:

A week or two in the life of Maya

Maya has been on a little adventure for the past couple of weeks. She started to stand up all by herself. We took a trip to Raleigh in the pouring down rain (not a fun drive I might add) to see Grandma and Grandpa and the rest of the family. We met our friend Whitney for some great lunch and conversation. We also have been going to the YMCA almost everyday now so I can work on getting back in shape. She loves going and hanging out with the other baby's while mommy works out. We will be doing swimming lessons in May.

Maya and Grandpa:
Maya and Boo both waiting for a snack:
Maya and Grammy Joyce:
Maya has found the Tupperware and loves to pull it all out for me:

Torrie's 1st soccer game!

Getting ready for the big game:

The warm up:
Half time:
High Fives to the teams!! Both teams played an awesome game:

Last Saturday Torrie's soccer team totally rocked their 1st game with a 7 to 0 win! It was so much fun getting out there and cheering her and her teammates on to victory! Torrie didn't get to score this game but she did have an assist. Her team plays hard and they all seem to have a great time with good sportsmanship!

Spring Time Beauty

When the weather finally got nice last week Maya and I went for a long walk to check out all the gorgeous flowers in bloom and some wild life too! The first picture is of the flowers that Ronnie bought me for our 3rd wedding anniversary on April 1.

Torries Rocket Launch

A group called Starbase came to Torrie's school a couple of weeks ago. The program is in place to get young kids interested in math and science. They did a lot of awesome things. They made futuristic cars on a computer program, got to fly real flight simulators and make rockets. They also talked to the kids about healthy lifestyles and the dangers of drugs and alcohol. At the end of the week all of the 5Th grade got to set their rockets off! It was so much fun for me to go watch. I feel very blessed that I am able to go to Torrie's school events and support her!

Torrie caught her rocket: I love this picture because she had no idea I was taking the picture but she was so stoked that her rocket went off without a hitch!
